Managing Director, Strategic Merchant Banking, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC)
Mr. Dunk is Managing Director, Strategic Merchant Banking at CIBC World Markets Inc. He initiates, evaluates, and structures transactions, coordinates and conducts due diligence, and participates in the oversight of CIBC's Merchant Banking investment portfolio.
Mr. Dunk has substantial experience originating and executing capital raisings and M&A transactions across a broad range of industries throughout Canada and the U.S. His experience boasts more than 100 announced transactions with an aggregate value of $136 billion.
Prior to joining CIBC's Merchant Bank in May 2009, Brett was with CIBC's investment bank for five years in M&A and Diversified Industries. Brett joined CIBC in June 2004 after working in investment banking with Citigroup Global Markets in New York for six years.
Brett also previously held positions as an engineer - industrial sales, manufacturing and mining. Brett graduated with a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 1998 and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University in 1992.
Michael R. Eisenson
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Charlesbank Capital Partners
Prior to co-founding Charlesbank in 1998, Michael was the president of Harvard Private Capital Group, the firm's predecessor. He began his tenure at Harvard Management Company in 1986 as managing director. Before joining Harvard Management, Michael was with The Boston Consulting Group, a corporate strategy consulting firm.
Michael serves on the boards of Blueknight Energy, CIFC, DEI Holdings, Montpelier Re, Penske Auto Group and StoneCastle Partners.In 2011, Michael was recognized by the Outstanding Directors Exchange for his significant boardroom contributions. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Williams College, with a BA in economics, and holds JD and MBA degrees from Yale University.
Michael's philanthropic involvement includes serving on the boards of trustees of Berklee College of Music, the Boston Foundation, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Williams College. He is also a founding director of Horizons for Homeless Children. Michael and his wife, Barbara, have four children and live in Wayland, MA.
Stephen J. Rotella
Chief Executive Officer, StoneCastle Cash Management, LLC

As CEO of StoneCastle Cash Management, LLC (SCCM), Steve Rotella has direct responsibility for all aspects of the company's cash management products and services. Under his leadership, SCCM has become an industry leader in cash management solutions for institutions and funding alternatives for community and regional banks.
Steve brings over 30 years of strategic and operating leadership in banking and financial services to StoneCastle, with deep experience in retail and internet banking, marketing, organizational development, product innovation and large scale operations management. Previously, Steve was Chief Operating Officer at Washington Mutual, overseeing 2200 retail branches, small business banking and all operating units of the bank. He spent eighteen years at JP Morgan Chase where he was CEO of Chase Home Finance, the 4th largest home lender in the country and a member of the Executive Committee.
Steve has been active in community organizations throughout his career with a keen interest in serving the underprivileged, boosting home ownership and the arts. Steve is a member of the Board of Lift Communities and the Advisory Board of SUNY Stony Brook School of Business. He was previously on the Boards of The Seattle Foundation, ArtsFund, Youthcare and Ballet Met. Steve lives in New York City and holds a BA in Economics and an MBA in Information Systems/Finance from the State University of New York.
Managing Partner and Chair of Investment Committee, StoneCastle Partners, LLC
Mr. Shilowitz serves as Managing Partner and Co-CEO of StoneCastle Partners, LLC and has direct responsibility for overall management and strategy of all aspects of the company and is the chairman of the investment committees. He also serves as the President of StoneCastle Financial Corp.
George brings two decades of fixed income and principal investment experience. Prior to joining StoneCastle, George was a senior executive and participated in the highly successful turnaround of Shinsei Bank sponsored by J.C. Flowers & Co. and Ripplewood Partners. George managed various business units including Merchant Banking and Principal Finance and was the president of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shinsei Capital (USA) Limited. Prior to Shinsei, George was a senior member of the Principal Transactions Group at Lehman Brothers, focusing on proprietary investments and debt portfolio acquisitions from distressed financial institutions in Asia. Prior to Lehman Brothers, he was a member of Salomon Brothers' asset finance group. George began his career at First Boston Corporation (now Credit Suisse) as a member of the fixed income mortgage arbitrage group and also held positions in the financial engineering group and asset finance investment banking. He holds a BS in Economics from Cornell University.

Joshua ("Josh") Siegel founded StoneCastle Partners, LLC in 2003 and serves as Managing Partner and is the Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Siegel has direct responsibility for overall management and strategy of all aspects of the company. Mr. Siegel also serves as the Chairman and CEO of StoneCastle Financial Corp.
Josh is widely regarded as a leading expert and investor in the community banking industry and is often quoted in financial media, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, American Banker, and CNNMoney. In addition, he speaks frequently at industry events, including those hosted by the American Bankers Association, Conference of State Bank Supervisors, FDIC, Federal Reserve Bank and SNL Financial.
A creative instructor with a passion for teaching, Josh has regularly been invited to educate government regulators about the specialized community banking sector. He also served as Adjunct Professor at the Columbia Business School in New York City. His research and financial innovations have brought nearly $40 billion of capital to over 1,600 banks across America over the past 12 years.
Prior to co-founding StoneCastle, Josh was a co-founder and Vice President of the Global Portfolio Solutions Group at Salomon Brothers/Citigroup Global Markets, a group organized to finance portfolios of financial assets for corporations and to invest in the sector as a principal. He later assumed responsibility for developing new products, including pooled investment strategies for the community banking sector. Josh originally joined Salomon Brothers/Citigroup in 1996 in the tax and lease division, providing structured financing to government-sponsored enterprises and Fortune 500 corporations.
Prior to his tenure at Salomon Brothers/Citigroup, Joshua worked at Sumitomo Bank where he served as a corporate lending officer, as a banker structuring equipment lease and credit derivative transactions, and as a member of the New York Credit Committee and at Charterhouse, carrying out merchant banking and private equity transactions.
Mr. Siegel received his BS in Management and Accounting from Tulane University.
Josh has provided strategic advice to the Global Food Banking Network - because no one should go hungry. He also provides annual economic support to Prep for Prep to make sure academic brilliance is recognized and nurtured without regard to a student's economic, demographic or sociological impediments.
Brandon C. White
Managing Director, Charlesbank Capital Partners
Brandon joined Harvard Private Capital Group, the predecessor to Charlesbank, in 1997. He previously worked at McKinsey & Company, focusing on corporate strategy in the telecommunications and oil and gas industries. He was appointed a managing director of Charlesbank in 2006.
Brandon serves on the boards of StoneCastle Partners, Tecomet and TLC Vision. He holds a BA in economics from Brigham Young University, where he graduated summa cum laude and was first in his class.
Brandon lives in Weston, MA. When not spending time with his wife and four children, he enjoys golfing, playing tennis and reading.
