Savader Asset Advisors LLC (SAA) provides institutional investors with an array of services that together form a comprehensive approach to understanding and managing the credit risk in their municipal portfolios.
Our approach is simple: SAA focuses on municipal credit research and analysis. We consider only the fundamental security pledge without giving weight to any external long-term credit enhancement such as bond insurance. Additionally, our services can be used either individually or together in a comprehensive approach to managing the credit risk in your municipal portfolio.
While we regularly customize our services to meet the specific needs of each client, our services can be broadly categorized to include:
- Expedited credit feedback on municipal securities being considered for purchase.
- The identification and analysis of potentially vulnerable securities currently in your municipal portfolio.
- Evaluating the credit profile of your entire municipal portfolio, thereby providing you and senior management with a particularly effective tool to track the portfolio’s credit profile over time.
- Ongoing surveillance of vulnerable credits using newly released documents such as audits and ongoing disclosure documents.
SAA is led by Mitchell Savader, a twenty-five year veteran of the municipal bond industry. Mr. Savader has served in several senior analytic and managerial roles including portfolio management, investment banking and rating agency operations.
Our analytic team consists of veteran municipal credit analysts, many with more than twenty years experience working with virtually all types of municipal securities ranging from high-quality to high-yield and from tax-backed to revenue-backed bonds.
